E-Commerce Assistant

Wanted: A professional creative who is positive, energetic, committed and self-driven. We are looking for an addition to join our e-commerce department. 

Who we are: An established and reputable high end boutique that opened twenty-one years ago in the beautiful neighborhood of Hancock Park. Over the last few years, we have been rapidly developing our web shop and online personality to better serve our clients, both in Los Angeles and across the globe.

Exercise and strengthen your graphic design, photography, creative, marketing, entrepreneurship, administration, sales and online merchandising skills by completing a broad daily task list. 


The Job:

Assistant will prepare garments for our website by creating product lists, styling outfits, editing of photos (using Adobe Photoshop), product descriptions and uploads. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the e-commerce manager and the store buyer to help update our Facebook accounts, Twitter, Instagram and most importantly, help with the continued development of the back-end of our online store. In addition, you will have the responsibility of creating visually pleasing banners for our website and e-mail blasts to our customers. Because we are a growing company, there is room for growth for the right candidates. We have a positive, honest, open and friendly environment. We encourage everyone to be themselves! 

Requirements:

  • Promptness and a great attitude
  • Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator w/ Portfolio
  • Graphic Design Knowledge 
  • Experience with online merchandising
  • Knowledge of social networking sites: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Writing and editing skills for Blog
  • Strong styling skills (catalog style)
  • Sales and shipping experience
  • Highly Organized
  • Excellent Communication Skills and Ability to Take Direction
  • Education or equal experience in the arts, design or business
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, Google Analytics


Upon hiring the best candidate we will have a thorough run through of the job and have a week or two week training period based on readiness. Part-Time schedules will be flexible or set, depending on your preference and availability, full-time schedules will be Monday-Thursday from 11am/12pm - 8pm.
