Fall Fashion: All About the Sleeve
Nov 16th 2016
It's November 16th and the holidays are near! While we wish this was a post about furs and jackets and all of our winter favorites, alas it is not. Because the weather in LA was topping out at about 90 degrees this week, we are still desperately trying to incorporate fall (at least color wise) into our wardrobes. One of our favorite ways to do that is with the sleeve. We've rounded up some of our favorites at Bleu right now!
Here at Bleu we are always one for a dramatic, exaggerated sleeve - this dress from Camilla and Marc reminds us of our favorite witchy winter style. Throw an unexpected sweater over the shoulders and tie it on a diagonal for a fresh way to wear it.
Extra long sleeves are one of our favorite trends this season, and we found the perfect cardigan to get the look! This Morrison Grey button up is a nod to the 90s when worn alone, and the plunging v neck adds a dose of sexy to its oversized silhouette.
For the hot weather days we've gotten to know so well here in LA, slip a T under a spaghetti strap to get the layered fall look! This way it doesn't feel like you're still wearing all the same things from summer (even though let's be real - we kind of are.)
Sleeve details were spotted all over the F/W runways and we think Phillip Lim really nailed the trend with this sweater. With the open tie back and coordinating sleeves, you're sure to turn every head at the holiday event. Pair with sequins for an unexpected combination.
