HOD Kristen Coat in Barista
The masculine coat we happily borrow from the boys' wardrobe, reimagined for modern feminine styling. The Kristen plays to the oversized tailored coat look, with a long, straight and deliberately loose silhouette. Its rich Barista brown shade brings just the right amount of warmth to this very boyish piece. Featuring crisp and exaggerated shoulder pads, a large tailored collar and supple drape, which give it that nonchalant allure, almost borrowed from a man's coat. The details stay deliberately understated: a single-button front closure, a piped chest pocket and flap pockets. Style over a light sweater and jeans for a classic fall and winter uniform, or layer over a midi dress for a sharp evening ensemble.
